Their National Organization developed a set of sanctions to hold the individuals and the organization accountable and shift their culture. We have high expectations of our Fraternity and Sorority Life community and this organization’s leadership and its members failed to live up to these expectations. Since then she has held two additional officer positions, in 20, In 2012, She was slated as Member Development Chair where monthly she would bring in an outside resource to educate our chapter about a relevant topic. When I got into Tri Delta, she was holding the position of Assistant New Member Educator. Throughout her time in Tri Delta, this woman has always displayed the qualities and values of our organization to the utmost of her ability. If anyone deserves to be recognized for her efforts as an alumni it should be this woman. There isn’t anyone else I would consider that deserves this award more than she does.” -Lauren Joseph Someone who makes an effort to make a mark on her sorority and in her community is someone that deserves this award. There hasn’t been a day in Tri Delta where she hasn’t tried to stop by and have a simple conversation with a person on and out of our sorority. Everyday she is living our Tri Delta ritual and responsibilities. When I am with her, I become a better person. I am beyond proud of her because she isn’t a typical leader that delegates or follows tradition, she is a sister that is willing to do anything to make everyone a better person and accept change. She is a sister that takes the time to listen to your worries, stories, funny jokes, and simple hello’s.

Her presence, professionalism, and bright personality make her such a remarkable young lady with so much talent. Not only can I call this person my great friend, but I can truly, honestly say that she is my sister too. On Sunday JanuFraternity and Sorority Life hosted the 25 th Annual Excellence Awards! Congratulations to all chapters on an amazing year with so many accomplishments! This year the JMU greek community raised over $140,000 for deserving philanthropies and dedicated over 33,000 hours to service! This is a truly remarkable accomplishment that everyone in our community can be so proud of! Our Tri Delta sisters also received many wonderful awards at the ceremony and we are so proud of each of you!
